Terms of use
Using Resizly means accepting what follows. It is short because the site is small and does very little on your behalf.
What you may do with it
Use it for anything, including commercial work, for as many files as your browser will manage, without paying and without asking. There is no licence to buy, no attribution required and no limit on the number of runs.
Your files stay yours
Nothing you put through Resizly is ever received by us, so no claim over it is possible and none is made. The copyright in your originals and in every file this tool writes from them remains entirely yours. You are responsible for having the right to process the images you queue.
What is not promised
Resizly is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. It is not promised to be available, to be free of faults, to open every file, or to produce a particular result. Browsers differ, memory runs out, and a codec that works on one machine may not exist on another; where those limits are known they are written on the page, and where they are not, you will find them the same way we would.
Keep your originals. Check the plan before a long run and check the archive after it. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost work, lost time, or damage of any kind arising from using this site, and nothing here removes a right you have that cannot be removed by agreement.
What you may not do
Do not use the site to process material you have no right to, do not attempt to interfere with how it is served, and do not present a copy of it as your own service. Everything on this page and the code behind it belongs to its authors; the tool is free to use, not free to republish.
Advertising and third parties
The site is built to be funded by advertising served by a third party under that party’s own terms. No unit is running as this is written, and when one does run the privacy page is the place that says what it can see. Links out of the site, including the one to the tool that suits a single file better, go to sites we do not control. What each of those does with a visit is described in its own policy, not this one.
Changes
These terms can be revised. Whatever this page shows at the time you read it is the set that applies, and using the site afterwards counts as agreement to it. What the site does and does not see is set out on the privacy page.
